The invention provides an alternative wall connecting piece and an application method thereof.The alternative wall connecting piece comprises a fixing component and a pulling component coaxially rotating with the fixing component, and the pulling component has a plurality of degrees of freedom so as to support adjustment of the shape of the pulling component according to different forms of curtain wall positions; therefore, the pulling and connecting requirements of the scaffold under different conditions are met. The alternative wall connecting piece is adopted to replace a wall connecting piece influencing block installation, the falling risk of the block at the position can be greatly reduced from the source, scaffold resources can be fully utilized, the utilization rate of a hanging basket is reduced, cost is saved, and the construction period is optimized.
