According to the present invention, with the total weight of the mixture as the reference, the mixture contains 92-98 wt% of ZrO2, 4-8 wt% of CaO, 0-0.12 wt% of Fe2O3, 0-0.35 wt% of Al2O3, 0-0.20 wt% of TiO2, 0-0.45 wt% of SiO2 and 0-0.08 wt% of R2O; wherein R2O is selected from Na2O and/or K2O. The zirconia ceramic provided by the invention has the advantages of no cracking during sintering, good compactness, excellent thermal shock resistance, high strength, high temperature resistance and erosion resistance.
