The invention relates to the technical field of bridge demolition, and discloses an overwater large-span bridge superstructure demolition method which comprises the following steps: aiming at demolition of an old bridge which cannot support a large crane to get on the bridge, two small cranes can be adopted to stand on beam slabs of which the bridge deck pavement is not demolished on the two sides to carry out double-click platform crane demolition on the beam slabs; the influence of the crane on the old bridge is reduced; the middle beam plate is firstly lifted out and placed on the beam plate beside to be dragged and dismantled; and then a guide beam mechanism is arranged at the position of the gap of the beam plate, it is guaranteed that the beam plate can be smoothly dragged until the beam plate is hung on the guide beam mechanism, and the subsequently-dismounted beam plate is placed on the guide beam mechanism to be conveyed and dismounted. The water large-span bridge superstructure dismantling device is applied to the water large-span bridge superstructure dismantling method, the dismantling device comprises a bridge frame whole body, a hanging mechanism, a guide beam mechanism and a beam plate fixing mechanism, and the bridge frame whole body is composed of beam plates.
