The invention discloses dam overflow surface concrete construction equipment and a construction method, the construction equipment comprises a trowelling tool, a dam overflow surface end plate matched with a concrete dam body overflow surface and a top die, and the top die comprises a plurality of square steels; the construction method comprises the steps that firstly, a supporting structure matched with the structural line of the overflow face of the concrete dam body of the current section is manufactured and installed; 2, the single-time pouring height is determined, and a plurality of pieces of square steel are installed from bottom to top according to the single-time pouring height; thirdly, single-time pouring and vibrating of concrete are conducted; fourthly, after initial setting of the concrete, the square steel to be dismantled is confirmed from bottom to top, then the adjusting short rods and the longitudinal supporting steel bars on the back face of the square steel at the position of the square steel to be dismantled are cut, and finally the square steel to be dismantled is dismantled; 5, plastering and calendaring the overflow surface; 6, finishing the construction of the overflow surface of the concrete dam body of the current section; and seventhly, construction is conducted to the bin collection elevation. The panel is made of square steel and can be suitable for construction of overflow surfaces with various curves and gradients, and the defect elimination procedure is not needed.
