A compression-resistant steel structure beam strut relates to the field of steel structures. The device is mainly designed for solving the problem that potential safety hazards exist in existing steel structure cross beam detection. The device comprises a cross beam which is connected with a pillar through a mounting sleeve. An annular supporting frame is arranged on the outer side of the cross beam, a walking mechanism on the annular supporting frame comprises a supporting plate, a sliding block is arranged in a sliding groove of the supporting plate, an extrusion spring is arranged between the sliding block and the sliding groove, the sliding block is connected with a telescopic rod, a supporting block is arranged on the telescopic rod, an extrusion spring is arranged outside the telescopic rod, and idler wheels are arranged on the supporting block. A motor support is arranged at the end of a telescopic rod in the middle of the supporting plate, an extrusion spring is arranged outside the telescopic rod, and a driving wheel is arranged at the output end of a double-shaft motor on the motor support. An annular sliding rail is arranged on the annular supporting frame, and the gear ring is fixed to a sliding block in the annular sliding rail. A motor is arranged at the top of the annular support frame; a driving gear on an output shaft of the motor is meshed with the gear ring; and a camera is arranged on a Z-shaped frame on the gear ring. The device has the advantage that the cross beam can be safely and efficiently detected.
