The invention relates to the field of high polymer materials, in particular to a high-strength waterproof roll for high-speed rails and a preparation method thereof.The high-strength waterproof roll comprises an interwoven skeleton layer, rubber layers are pressed on the two sides of the interwoven skeleton layer, and polyester fiber geotechnical cloth is pressed on the outer layers of the rubber layers; the rubber layer is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 20 to 40 percent of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer chlorinated polyethylene, 1 to 5 percent of carbon black, 30 to 50 percent of filler, 5 to 15 percent of plasticizer, 1 to 3 percent of antioxidant, 2 to 6 percent of heat stabilizer and 0.1 to 1 percent of additive. The high-strength waterproof coiled material for the high-speed rail has excellent waterproof performance, ageing resistance and weather resistance, and is suitable for engineering fields with strict requirements, such as high-speed railways and the like. Due to the unique structural design and raw material composition, the coiled material can stably operate for a long time in a complex and changeable natural environment, and a powerful guarantee is provided for safe operation of a high-speed rail line.
