The invention discloses a grating type ceramic-based wave-absorbing composite material as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of wave-absorbing materials. Comprising a grid structure formed by crisscrossing a plurality of ceramic-based composite flat plates; each ceramic-based composite flat plate is a cuboid; a plurality of grooves are equidistantly formed in one side of each ceramic-based composite flat plate along the long edge direction; when a plurality of ceramic-based composite flat plates are crisscrossed, the grooves in the longitudinal ceramic-based composite flat plates and the grooves in the transverse ceramic-based composite flat plates are embedded into each other to form an interlocking grating structure. The prepared wave-absorbing material with the grating structure has good high temperature resistance, and meanwhile excellent room-temperature and high-temperature wave-absorbing performance can be achieved through the material design of fibers, an interface and a matrix and the grating structure design.
