The invention discloses an anti-falling device for a lifting type building scaffold, the anti-falling device comprises a fixed seat, a guide mechanism, a trigger mechanism and a plurality of brake blocks, the trigger mechanism comprises a contact pin and a stop block, the contact pin and the stop block are coaxially hinged to the fixed seat, a clamping hole is formed between every two adjacent brake blocks, and the guide mechanism is arranged in the clamping hole. The contact pin and the stop block can be inserted into the adjacent clamping holes respectively, when the lifting sliding rail moves upwards, the brake block can drive the contact pin to swing upwards relative to the stop block, and when the lifting sliding rail moves downwards, the brake block can drive the contact pin and the stop block to swing downwards at the same time, and the contact pin and the stop block can swing upwards relative to the stop block when the lifting sliding rail moves downwards. The stop block can swing away from the range of the clamping hole or the stop block can be clamped into the clamping hole to form braking. By the adoption of the anti-falling device, it can be guaranteed that the lifting sliding rail ascends and descends stably while the anti-falling function is provided; the structure is simple, and the occupied space is small.
