The invention belongs to the technical field of lateral limiting of prestressed continuous beams, and particularly relates to a lateral limiting device for pushing a prestressed continuous beam which comprises a pier body, a continuous beam body erected on the pier body and a plurality of pushing devices arranged on the pier body. Each pushing device comprises a first hydraulic cylinder rotationally arranged on one side of the pier body; the output end of the second hydraulic cylinder is fixedly connected with a top frame; the pushing device further comprises a lateral limiting device arranged on one side of the second hydraulic cylinder, the lateral limiting device comprises a fixing frame rotationally arranged on one side of the top frame, and a limiting plate is arranged in the fixing frame. The two transverse plates are fixedly connected to one side of the top frame, the ends, away from the transverse plates, of the gears are meshed with first rack plates, and second rack plates are arranged between the two transverse plates in a sliding mode, by arranging the lateral limiting devices, the problem that before a continuous beam body is jacked up by a second hydraulic cylinder, slight deviation possibly occurs is solved, and therefore the deviation distance of the continuous beam is increased, and the stability of the continuous beam body is improved.
