The invention relates to a method for automatically placing and recycling intelligent traffic cones on a curve construction road section. The method comprises the steps that S1, the number of the intelligent traffic cones needing to be placed is calculated; s2, determining the placement position of each intelligent traffic cone, the longitudinal distance between the two intelligent traffic cones along the road shoulder line, and the normal distance between the placement position of each intelligent traffic cone and the road shoulder line; s3, the intelligent traffic cones are autonomously numbered and automatically placed; and S4, recovering the intelligent traffic cone. The intelligent traffic cones can be automatically placed and recycled on the curve construction road section, the process is simple, convenient and reliable, only all the intelligent traffic cones need to be arranged in a straight line, the sequence is automatically distributed according to position topological connection, and manual arrangement according to a surface-mounted ID or a wireless communication ID sequence is not needed; compared with a manual mode, the placing and recycling efficiency is improved, the risk exposure time of operators is shortened, and the traffic accident rate caused by placing and recycling the traffic cones on the curve is reduced.
