The invention provides a sectional type wrapping type buckling-restrained brace and a design method thereof, and belongs to the anti-seismic technology of building structures, the sectional type wrapping type buckling-restrained brace comprises an energy dissipation deformation section, a transition connection section and a middle elastic section, and the middle elastic section is of a cavity structure; the energy consumption deformation section comprises an energy consumption core body and a wrapping structure wrapping the periphery of the energy consumption core body, and the energy consumption core body and the wrapping structure extend into the cavity structure of the middle elastic section along the transition connecting section and are connected with the middle elastic section. The wrapping structure is arranged on the periphery of the energy dissipation core body, it is guaranteed that local instability does not occur to the whole sectional wrapping type buckling-restrained brace, and the sectional wrapping type buckling-restrained brace keeps elastic or yield energy dissipation under the action of frequent earthquakes and is in an elastic or yield energy dissipation state under the action of medium earthquakes; and under the action of a large earthquake, plastic energy dissipation is achieved, and the good deformation energy dissipation capacity of the sectional type wrapping type buckling-restrained brace is fully exerted.
本发明提出了分段式包覆型防屈曲约束支撑及其设计方法,属于建筑结构抗震技术,包括耗能变形段、过渡连接段和中间弹性段,中间弹性段为空腔结构;耗能变形段包括耗能芯体以及包覆在耗能芯体外周的包覆结构,且耗能芯体和包覆结构均沿着过渡连接段延伸至中间弹性段的空腔结构内,并与中间弹性段连接。本发明在耗能芯体的外周设置包覆结构,保证整个分段式包覆型防屈曲约束支撑不发生局部失稳,使分段式包覆型防屈曲约束支撑在多遇地震作用下保持弹性或屈服耗能,在中震作用下处于弹性或者屈服耗能状态,在大震作用下塑性耗能,充分发挥分段式包覆型防屈曲约束支撑良好的变形耗能能力。
