The invention relates to a biochar modified aggregate for improving asphalt and aggregate interface adhesiveness and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: coating the surface of an aggregate to be modified with biomass wastes; the biomass waste is converted into a biochar layer through pyrolysis carbonization treatment; and annealing and sieving to obtain modified aggregate enriched with a biochar layer, so that abundant pore structures are generated on the surface of the aggregate, the specific surface area is increased, the adhesiveness between the aggregate and asphalt is enhanced, and a target biochar modified aggregate product is obtained. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the biochar is enriched on the surface of the aggregate, the adhesiveness between the aggregate and the asphalt in the asphalt concrete is enhanced by utilizing the large specific surface area and the rich pore structure of the biochar, and the stability of the asphalt concrete is improved by enhancing the original weak interface between the aggregate and the asphalt; a new thought is provided for improving the pavement performance of the asphalt pavement and preparing a long-life pavement.
