The invention discloses a preparation method of a fiber-free low-carbon SMA asphalt mixture, the fiber-free low-carbon SMA asphalt mixture comprises the following raw materials: a mineral aggregate and asphalt, and the mass ratio of the asphalt to the mineral aggregate is (4.8-5.8): 100; the mineral aggregate comprises 10 to 17 mm coarse aggregate, 5 to 10 mm coarse aggregate, machine-made sand and mineral powder, and the mass ratio of the 10 to 17 mm coarse aggregate to the 5 to 10 mm coarse aggregate to the machine-made sand to the mineral powder is (31 to 32) to (43 to 44) to (14 to 15) to (10 to 11); the asphalt contains a surfactant with the mass content of 0.5%; the surfactant is a mixture of fatty amine polyoxyethylene ether, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, epoxidized soybean oil and cocamidopropyl hydroxy sulfobetaine. Through selective compounding of the surfactant and optimization of SMA gradation, the mixing temperature is reduced, energy consumption and waste gas emission are reduced, the asphalt viscosity is increased, wood fibers in an SMA mixture are removed, and the SMA mixture is prevented from leaking and flooding; meanwhile, the asphalt consumption is reduced, and the structural stability is improved.
