The invention discloses a concrete structure which comprises a concrete body, a structural steel bar frame pre-buried in the concrete body and a plurality of butt joint mechanisms, and one side face of the concrete body is a butt joint face; the butt joint mechanism comprises two clamping rods, a locking mechanism, a plurality of embedded steel bars and a plurality of connectors, sponge bodies are arranged on one sides of the two clamping rods, the two clamping rods are connected in a locking mode through the locking mechanism, and the embedded steel bars are clamped between the sponge bodies of the two clamping rods and fixed to the structural steel bar frame. The embedded steel bars are arranged at intervals in the width direction of the butt joint face and are perpendicular to the butt joint face, the clamping rods are fixed to the structural steel bar frame, and the connectors are connected with the embedded steel bars in a one-to-one correspondence mode. The invention further discloses a construction method of the concrete structure. According to the concrete structure and the construction method thereof, the butt joint mechanism is good in adjustability, high in positioning accuracy and good in overall stability, deformation and dislocation are not prone to occurring in the concrete vibrating process, and connection of adjacent concrete structures is facilitated.
