The invention discloses a construction method for enabling a stirrup on a main reinforcement in a basement corner post formwork to penetrate through a water stop steel plate. The water stop requirement of a construction joint in a post and the requirement of a stirrup pulling force on the main reinforcement in the post are both considered. A water stop steel plate (8) turning by 90 degrees is arranged in a gap of a steel bar stand column (7) in a corner column at a horizontal construction joint (6), steel bar sealing rings are movably connected to the water stop steel plate (8) turning by 90 degrees in a sleeved mode respectively, a left-side semi-ring-shaped outer stirrup (11) is arranged on the left side of the water stop steel plate (8) turning by 90 degrees, and a right-side semi-ring-shaped outer stirrup (12) is arranged on the right side of the water stop steel plate turning by 90 degrees. The left-side semi-ring-shaped outer stirrup and the right-side semi-ring-shaped outer stirrup (12) are connected together in a pulling manner through a steel bar sealing ring to jointly form an annular sealing outer stirrup on a corner post inner steel bar stand column (7) penetrating through the water stop steel plate; the stirrup force of the annular stirrups on the main reinforcements in the column is guaranteed, and meanwhile the integrity of the water stop steel plate is guaranteed.
