The invention discloses a novel ceramic binder and a preparation method of modified ceramic. The novel ceramic binder comprises the following components: a PAA-based binder; and a modifier. The modifier is any one or more of diethylaminoacetaldehyde methacrylate, alkaline sodium polyacrylate, non-polar sodium polyacrylate, nonionic polyacrylamide, citric acid and sodium citrate buffer solution, neutral hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxyl ethylene-ethylene, 2-ethylhexyl ester and sodium polyacrylate. Compared with the prior art, the novel ceramic binder has the following beneficial effects that the performance of the finally prepared modified ceramic is optimal by using the novel ceramic binder: the KNN ceramic synthesized from AcPAA has the optimal combination performance, the piezoelectric constant is d33-108pC/N, and the breakdown strength of PAA-DM is Eb-3. 93 kV/cm.
