To provide a ceramic binder resin that can improve the sheet strength of a ceramic green sheet and has also excellent pyrolytic properties.SOLUTION: A ceramic binder resin contains a polymer in which: a monomer (A) of a specific structure, such as a urea structure or a urethane structure, represented by formula (1) is 10-100 mol% in molar ratio; another monomer (B) copolymerizable with the monomer (A) is 0-90 mol% in molar ratio; and the weight average molecular weight is 10,000-1,000,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
