The invention discloses a pushing device for erecting a steel box girder, belongs to the field of buildings, and aims to solve the problems that in order to reduce friction generated during pushing, balls are mounted at sliding positions of an existing pushing device for the steel box girder, but the balls are very easily damaged by falling broken stones due to the fact that the balls are mounted on the outer sides, and pushing is strenuous. A pushing device for erecting a steel box girder comprises a base, a first hydraulic cylinder arranged on one side of the upper portion of the base, a first hydraulic rod fixedly connected to the output end of the first hydraulic cylinder, a first sliding groove formed in the inner side of the base and a first sliding block arranged on the inner side of the first sliding groove. When the first hydraulic cylinder is pushed, the pushing mechanism is driven to move towards the two sides, so that blocking of the first sliding groove is opened, when the first hydraulic cylinder moves beyond the range of the pushing mechanism, the pushing mechanism is reset, and compared with the prior art, damage of falling rocks to balls can be prevented, and therefore the situation that the balls are damaged is reduced.
