The invention provides a gate bearing replacing device and a method for replacing a bearing. The gate bearing replacing device comprises a gate leaf, a rotating shaft located at the bottom of the gate leaf, a connecting assembly, the bearing, a base and a cushion piece. The base is connected with the base through the connecting assembly and supports the rotating shaft, and the bearing is located between the base and the rotating shaft. The cushion piece is located between the substrate and the base, and the connecting assembly can be adjusted to be in a fastened state or a loosened state. When the connecting assembly is in a fastening state, the cushion piece is fixed under the action of pressure, and the base is kept stable; when the connecting assembly is in a relaxed state, the cushion piece can move in or out of the bottom of the base, and the base can move up and down.
