The invention relates to a steel column jacking construction method which comprises the following steps: welding reverse jacking section steel on two sides of an original column web, and jacking the reverse jacking section steel by adopting a jack; the first flange plate is disconnected in the horizontal direction, a flange reinforcing steel plate is installed on the outer side of the first flange plate, and a limiting steel plate is welded to the flange reinforcing steel plate; the second flange plate is disconnected in the horizontal direction, a flange reinforcing steel plate is installed on the outer side of the second flange plate, and a limiting steel plate is welded to the flange reinforcing steel plate; breaking the original column web along the horizontal direction, and mounting web reinforcing steel plates on two sides of the original column web; the prototype steel column is jacked, the upper portions of the two flange reinforcing steel plates are welded, and flange connecting steel plates are installed; mounting a web connecting steel plate; welding the upper part of the web reinforcing steel plate to the web; and S7, the limiting steel plate is dismantled. The construction method can be used for reinforcing and jacking the supporting steel column, the process is simple, operation is convenient, the construction efficiency is high, the construction period is short, and the construction safety and the construction quality can be effectively guaranteed.
