The large-area steel plate floor construction equipment comprises a movable storage box, a positioning frame, a horizontal pushing device, a glue spraying device, a grabbing device and a drilling device, a plurality of steel plate single bodies are stacked in the movable storage box, and each steel plate single body is provided with a plurality of counter bores in a penetrating mode; the front end of the movable storage box is provided with a discharge port for moving out the single steel plates; the horizontal pushing device is used for pushing the single steel plates into the positioning frame from the discharging opening; the glue spraying device is used for spraying steel sticking glue to the bottoms of the to-be-paved single steel plates; when the single steel plate bodies are moved out of the discharging opening, the grabbing device grabs the single steel plate bodies to be paved and downwards paves the single steel plate bodies to the ground; when paving of the steel plate single bodies is completed, the drilling device drills holes in the ground in the axis direction of the counterbores of the paved steel plate single bodies, and the steel plate single bodies are locked to the ground through threaded locking pieces. The floor construction method has the effects of improving the floor construction efficiency and improving the structural strength.
