The invention relates to a pier protection device for a deepwater foundation structure, and the pier protection device comprises an anti-collision assembly which comprises an inner cylinder arranged on the periphery of a pier in a surrounding manner and an outer cylinder mounted on the periphery of the inner cylinder, grooves are formed in the two sides of the outer cylinder in the upstream and downstream direction of the pier, and a plurality of water through holes are formed in the bottom walls of the grooves; the energy dissipation assembly comprises a plurality of connecting rods and a plurality of energy dissipation pieces, the energy dissipation pieces are provided with blind holes, the inner walls of the blind holes are distributed in a step shape, all the energy dissipation pieces are transversely or transversely arranged along the grooves, and in the arrangement direction, every two adjacent energy dissipation pieces are connected through the corresponding connecting rod and rotationally arranged relative to the corresponding connecting rod; the connecting rods located at the outermost ends of the energy dissipation pieces in all rows or columns are fixedly connected with the inner walls of the grooves.
