The invention relates to the technical field of valves, and discloses water level gate adjusting equipment which comprises a bottom table, two trapezoidal water retaining dams fixedly connected to the top of the bottom table, and a power assembly, a gate mechanism and a manual operation table which are arranged between the two trapezoidal water retaining dams. The gate mechanism comprises a threaded rod rotationally connected to the interior of the trapezoidal water retaining dam, limiting assemblies in threaded connection to the outer wall of the threaded rod, an overturning valve assembly rotationally connected between the two limiting assemblies, and a gravity assembly slidably connected to the inner wall of the overturning valve assembly. The effects of setting the water level and automatically adjusting the water level can be achieved by adjusting the height of a water passing opening, an operator screws a manual screwing bolt on a manual operation table, two connecting ropes are driven to be wound in rope embedding grooves, the connecting ropes are shortened and pull two sliding blocks to slide upwards, and a sliding adjusting plate slides in an overturning valve assembly accordingly; and the position of the water passing opening is changed.
