The invention discloses an inter-building flower basket type steel structure design and construction method. The method comprises the following steps that 1, a steel frame structure on a building structure is positioned and installed; 2, the flower basket type steel structure is divided into four truss units according to the four faces of the flower basket type steel structure, and each truss unit is divided into an upper module truss and a lower module truss; 3, ground hardening treatment is carried out, and the embedded parts are positioned and installed; 4, the truss units are assembled on the ground, and the single-pipe supports and the lower module truss are welded and fixed; 5, the truss units on the side connected with the building structure are installed firstly, then the truss units on the other two sides are installed, and when each truss unit is hoisted, lower module trusses are integrally hoisted firstly; positioning and mounting a supporting jig frame and hoisting an upper module truss section by section; and 6, the supporting jig frame is unloaded in a graded mode, and then the single-pipe support is dismantled. A new structural form is provided for the channel structure between the buildings, the appearance is attractive, the site is wider, and personnel flow is better facilitated.
