By arranging the step distribution type multi-stage desilting basin with the bottom elevation gradually reduced, water flow is divided into a plurality of branches through the water division partition walls, and the branches flow towards the trash holding and overhauling section and the pump station working section, multi-stage desilting is achieved, the excavation volume is saved, silt is prevented from being deposited in front of a pump, the desilting frequency is reduced, and desilting operation in the later period is facilitated; and the working efficiency of the water intake pumping station is effectively improved.
