The invention discloses a viscous damping outrigger truss with elbow joint connection, and relates to the technical field of buildings. Comprising an outrigger truss and an elbow joint mechanism, and one side of the outrigger truss is fixedly connected with a core tube shear wall; a viscous damper is hinged to the middle position of the other side of the outrigger truss; the elbow joint mechanism comprises an upper connecting rod and a lower connecting rod, and one end of the upper connecting rod is hinged to one end of the lower connecting rod. The other end part of the upper connecting rod is hinged with the end part of the other side of the outrigger truss; the other end part of the lower connecting rod is hinged with the giant column; and the hinged part of the upper connecting rod and the lower connecting rod is hinged with the end part of the viscous damper. Possible plastic displacement of the outrigger truss is eliminated through the elbow joint mechanism, deformation is concentrated on the viscous damper, the problem that the outrigger truss can generate large plastic deformation is solved, meanwhile, the assembly type structure is convenient to replace, and post-earthquake repair is facilitated.
