The preparation method of the concrete internal curing agent comprises the following steps: performing in-situ polymerization, crushing and drying on a mixture of foam concrete and a polymer precursor solution to obtain the concrete internal curing agent, the mass ratio of the foam concrete to the polymer precursor solution is 1: (0.4-1.5); the polymer precursor solution comprises an unsaturated monomer, a cross-linking agent, an initiator, a coupling agent and water; the volume weight of the foam concrete is 400 to 1000g/L. The inorganic raw materials and the organic raw materials adopted by the concrete internal curing agent are regulated and controlled, in-situ polymer is carried out, the prepared concrete internal curing agent has the water absorption performance, and the shrinkage resistance and the compressive strength of concrete are improved.
