The invention relates to a motorized drive for a masking device, and to an associated masking device. The motorized drive includes a housing, an electronic control unit, a supplemental member, and a connection module. The connection module includes a frame, an electrical connection pin, and a moving mechanism. The movement mechanism is configured to move the pins relative to the frame between a retracted position and an extended position, and vice versa. The cavity of the housing is configured to selectively receive a component that is thereby received within the cavity. After the component is taken out of the housing, the connection module is accommodated in the cavity instead of the component, so that the electric connection point of the electric connection device of the electronic control unit is configured to be electrically connected with the pin at the protruding position of the pin.

The invention relates to a motorized drive for a masking device, and to an associated masking device. The motorized drive includes a housing, an electronic control unit, a supplemental member, and a connection module. The connection module includes a frame, an electrical connection pin, and a moving mechanism.
