To realize a device and method with which different coating materials are applied so that coating areas are overlapped and a coating range of an upper layer is applied to a certain range wider than that of a lower layer.SOLUTION: A masking tape affixing device used for material application includes: a first roller that holds a relatively wide roll of a first masking tape on a dolly with wheels and handles; a second roller that holds a roll of relatively narrow second masking tape; and a third roller for pressing and attaching the two types of masking tape. The inner end faces of the second roller, which holds the outer end surface of the relatively wide first masking tape attached to the first roller and the roll of the relatively narrow second masking tape, are arranged so as to overlap at their operating positions, and the first masking tape and the second masking tape are attached in an overlapping manner by one action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】異種の塗布材料をその塗布領域を重ね、且つ上層の塗布範囲が下層よりも一定程度広い範囲に塗布する構成とするような装置および方法を実現する。【解決手段】材料塗布に用いるマスキングテープ貼付装置であって、車輪とハンドルを有する台車上に、相対的に広幅の第一のマスキングテープのロールを保持する第一のローラーと、相対的に細幅の第二のマスキングテープのロールを保持する第二のローラーと、該２種のマスキングテープを押圧して貼付するための第三のローラーと、を備え、該第一のローラーに装着される相対的に広幅の第一のマスキングテープの外端面と該相対的に細幅の第二のマスキングテープのロールを保持する第二のローラーの内端面はその作動位置に於いて重複するように配置され、第一及び第二のマスキングテープを一動作で重ねて貼付するようにした。【選択図】図１
