The invention provides a safe sidewalk gate which comprises a base, a mounting shell is arranged on the base, two sets of movable seats are hinged to the mounting shell, a lifting mechanism connected with the movable seats is further arranged in the mounting shell, the movable seats are driven by the lifting mechanism to rotate along hinge points of the movable seats and the mounting shell, mounting rods are arranged on the two sets of movable seats, and the mounting rods are connected with the movable seats. The end faces of the mounting rods abut against the end face of the movable seat, the tops of the abutting faces of the mounting rods are hinged to the movable seat, multiple sets of wing plates parallel at intervals are arranged between the two sets of mounting rods, the movable seat is connected with the mounting rods through tension springs, and locking mechanisms connected with the mounting rods are arranged on the movable seat. The position of the mounting rod is locked through the locking mechanism when the mounting rod is horizontally arranged, and locking of the mounting rod is relieved after the mounting rod is lifted.
