The invention relates to a building construction support which comprises a movable frame and pulleys, a moving mechanism used for extending and retracting the pulleys is installed in an inner cavity of the movable frame, the moving mechanism can change the height of the pulleys, the pulleys can descend to the ground when the support moves, and the pulleys can be retracted into the movable frame when the support is fixed. A lifting mechanism is installed on the top of the movable frame. The device has the beneficial effects that the first motor is started through cooperation of the first motor and the pulley, the first bidirectional lead screw can be driven to rotate through starting of the first motor, the two connecting blocks can be driven to get close to each other or get away from each other through rotation of the first bidirectional lead screw, and the pulley can ascend and descend along with change between the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate. When the device needs to move, the pulleys are controlled to descend so that the pulleys can be attached to the ground, and when the device needs to be fixed, the pulleys ascend to the interior of the movable frame, switching between the moving process and the fixed state of the support is achieved, and the cost for configuring an additional structure is avoided.
