The preparation method of the gypsum board foaming agent comprises the following steps: S1, placing the attapulgite in a carbon dioxide or nitrogen atmosphere, and filling pores of the attapulgite with carbon dioxide or nitrogen; s2, adding lauryl sodium sulfate and water into attapulgite, and uniformly stirring to obtain the gypsum board foaming agent. The invention provides a gypsum plaster board which adopts the gypsum board foaming agent. The foaming agent prepared by the invention can effectively reduce the surface density of the gypsum board, and has small influence on the fracture load of the gypsum board.
