The invention provides a construction site protection drainage system and a construction method. The drainage system comprises a plurality of fence foundations formed by mutual lap joint, and the lower portions of the foundations are buried underground; cavities are reserved in the foundations and spliced and extend in the enclosure direction to form built-in drainage ditches, all the foundation blocks are connected through rabbets, and the corner foundations are located at the corners of the enclosure. A drainage cavity is formed in the corner foundation, the drainage cavity is arranged in an inclined mode, and a drainage hole is further formed in the lowest position of the drainage ditch and used for guiding water in the built-in ditch into the water collecting well; according to the hollow foundation structure, the main body part of the prefabricated fence is made of reinforced concrete, the foundation part of the prefabricated fence is locally designed to be hollow, and a built-in drainage ditch is formed. The hollow part is communicated with the external environment through the water diversion hole to form a natural drainage channel which is equivalent to a prefabricated drainage ditch and is integrated with the fence foundation, so that the dual functions of protection and drainage are realized, and the problems that a traditional drainage ditch is easy to block and difficult to maintain are effectively solved.
