High-strength clay aerogel thermal insulation material and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the technical field of heat preservation and heat insulation, and discloses a high-strength clay aerogel heat insulation material and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the steps that a polyvinyl alcohol solution and a chitosan solution are mixed to obtain a mixed solution, then clay and a coupling agent are added, and clay slurry is obtained after uniform stirring and mixing; and transferring the clay slurry into a container, and freeze-drying to obtain the high-strength clay aerogel. According to the invention, the blending of polyvinyl alcohol and chitosan adjusts the microstructure of the aerogel, forms a closed pore channel and a closed surface, and is helpful to hinder air convection and reduce the thermal conductivity coefficient; meanwhile, the double organic components improve the machinability of the aerogel; the clay and the chitosan form chemical crosslinking through the coupling agent, so that the compression strength and the compression modulus of the aerogel are improved; the aerogel heat insulation material obtained by the invention shows good heat insulation performance and excellent strength.
