The invention discloses a vertical shaft construction temporary scaffold which comprises a plurality of horizontally-distributed transverse rods, partition plates arranged on the transverse rods, a plurality of vertical rods arranged above the transverse rods and stairs arranged above the partition plates, inclined supporting rods used for enhancing supporting force are arranged on the vertical rods, the lower ends of the transverse rods are connected with rolling wheels, and the rolling wheels are arranged on the partition plates. The protective mechanism is arranged on the inner side of the inclined supporting rod and used for protecting a worker when the worker walks on the stair; and the treading mechanism is arranged on the staircase and is treaded by a worker to relieve movement limitation on the protection mechanism. By arranging the protection mechanism and the treading mechanism, when a worker walks on a stairway, due to the fact that no protection device is arranged on the scaffold, safety risks exist for the worker during high-altitude operation, when the worker treads on the stairway, the worker treads on the protection mechanism, movement limitation on the protection mechanism is relieved, and the protection mechanism protects the worker.
