The self-cleaning faucet comprises a shell, a valve element assembly and a handle, the valve element assembly is installed in a pipe opening of the shell, the valve element assembly comprises a valve body, a water inlet and a water outlet, the water inlet and the water outlet are formed in the two sides of the valve body respectively, a movable piece for controlling the water inlet to be opened and closed is arranged in the valve body, and the handle is rotationally arranged at the position of the pipe opening of the shell. The handle is internally provided with a water outlet pipeline, an end cap and a faucet water opening, wherein the water outlet pipeline is communicated with the water outlet. The water inlet, the moving plate, the water outlet, the rotary adjusting piece, the handle and the water inlet end of the water outlet pipeline in the handle are all located on the same straight line, so that the waterway structure is simple, and the shell and the valve element assembly are easier and more convenient to manufacture, machine and assemble; and moreover, the adjusting handle and the faucet are integrated, so that the faucet structure is simplified, the cost is saved, and a self-cleaning effect can be achieved.
