According to the ecological low-temperature fired coal gangue-based porous ceramic material and the preparation method thereof, the prepared ceramic material is high in porosity and strong in water seepage effect, can play a role in humidifying, has higher reusability, does not cause reduction of water absorption capacity due to the action of salt, and is not prone to falling off due to the action of capillary pore force after water absorption. Evaporation of water can be delayed, and the water retention performance of the material is improved.
