The invention discloses an assembly type steel supporting frame for a building, and relates to the technical field of building construction, the assembly type steel supporting frame comprises four supporting pipes and a bearing plate, the outer walls of the four supporting pipes are detachably connected through four connecting pipes, and the bearing plate is movably installed over the connecting pipes; the bottom of each supporting pipe is provided with a supporting assembly used for supporting the supporting pipe, each supporting assembly comprises a supporting plate and a balance block, the bottoms of the four supporting pipes are provided with the supporting plates in a matched mode through threads, the bottoms of the supporting plates are fixedly provided with U-shaped frames, the balance blocks are arranged in inner cavities of the U-shaped frames, and the two sides of each balance block are symmetrically and fixedly provided with rotating shafts. Containing grooves matched with the rotating shafts are symmetrically formed in the two sides of an inner cavity of the U-shaped frame. Through mutual cooperation of the components, the contact area of the bottom of the supporting plate and the inclined ground is increased, the situation that the bearing plate topples over when bearing heavy objects is prevented, and adverse effects on building construction and normal use of the supporting frame are reduced.
