A construction machine (20) is provided with a temperature detection device (2) for detecting the temperature between an oxidation catalyst (12) and a filter (11), and a controller (71). The controller (71) calculates the average value of the temperatures detected by the temperature detection device (2) during the regeneration process of the filter (11), and calculates the degree of deterioration of the oxidation catalyst (12) on the basis of the calculated average value.
