The invention relates to a ceramic tile paving process which comprises the following steps: firstly, cleaning the surface of a base layer, then leveling and repairing the base layer, and fully wetting the base layer with water; then coating the adhesive on the surface of the base layer by using a tooth-shaped scraper blade; paving the ceramic tiles on the adhesive; and finally, brick joints between the ceramic tiles are cleaned, and the joints are filled with a joint beautifying agent. The tensile adhesive strength of the adhesive is greater than or equal to 1N/mm < 2 >, the tensile adhesive strength after water immersion is greater than or equal to 1N/mm < 2 >, the tensile adhesive strength after thermal aging is greater than or equal to 1N/mm < 2 >, and the tensile adhesive strength after freeze-thaw cycle is greater than or equal to 1N/mm < 2 >. The whole process is reasonable in design, easy to construct and high in practicability, and the problems of hollowing and unevenness easily occurring in a traditional ceramic tile pasting method can be effectively solved.
