The thixotropic slurry comprises the following components: a matrix, a stabilizer, a curing agent, a slow release agent and water, the curing agent comprises a curing agent A and a curing agent B; the curing agent A is at least one of calcium-containing soluble salt, calcium-containing soluble alkali, magnesium-containing soluble salt and magnesium-containing soluble alkali; the curing agent B is salt, a salt solution or gas which can react with the curing agent A to generate insoluble precipitates; and the curing agent B is embedded in the degradable material to form an embedded material which is independent of other components. According to the thixotropic slurry, the lubricating effect of the thixotropic slurry is guaranteed, meanwhile, the thixotropic slurry has the self-hardening function, according to the pipe jacking construction method based on the thixotropic slurry, thixotropic slurry replacement is not needed, the operation process is shortened, and the production cost is reduced.
