The invention discloses a universal joint and a faucet extender with the universal joint, and the faucet extender comprises a connecting seat which is provided with an upper connecting hole and a lower connecting hole; the water outlet seat is provided with a mounting part and a ball head part, the mounting part is concave inwards to form a mounting groove, a mounting hole and a through hole, the through hole penetrates through the side wall surface of the mounting groove, a water flowing hole penetrates through the ball head part, one end of the ball head part is fixedly arranged on the mounting part, the ball head part is rotatably arranged on the connecting seat, and one end of the ball head part penetrates out of the lower connecting hole; and the water outlet device is arranged in the mounting groove of the mounting part. On the basis that the original downward water outlet direction is kept, the water outlet seat can be rotated until the water outlet direction is changed into the upward inclined water outlet direction, and meanwhile, the water outlet seat has the functions of hand washing, gargling or face washing and has the advantages of being simple in overall structure, low in cost and high in universality.
