The protection unit comprises two right-angle steel plates which are fixedly connected to the joint walls of the two sides of the deformation joint correspondingly; the flat steel plate is hinged between the two right-angle steel plates; each energy dissipation unit comprises an even number of energy dissipation elements, the energy dissipation elements are fixedly connected to the corresponding side walls of the two right-angle steel plates respectively, and every two oppositely-arranged energy dissipation elements form an energy dissipation set. One end of the outer pipe is hinged to one energy dissipation element in one energy dissipation group; one end of the inner rod is hinged to the other energy dissipation element in one energy dissipation group, and the other end of the inner rod is arranged in the corresponding outer pipe in a penetrating manner; one end of each energy dissipation spring abuts against the corresponding outer pipe, and the other end of each energy dissipation spring abuts against the end, away from the corresponding outer pipe, of the corresponding inner rod. The anti-deformation, anti-seismic and anti-stretching performance of the building deformation joint can be optimized, and meanwhile the building deformation joint has the additional functions of energy dissipation, water prevention, fire prevention and the like.
