The invention relates to an intelligent traffic sign which comprises a bottom mounting plate and a hollow mounting rod arranged on the upper surface of the bottom mounting plate, a sliding mounting plate is arranged on the outer surface of the hollow mounting rod in a sliding mode, and two digital display screens used for displaying traffic signs are embedded in the front face of the sliding mounting plate; and the lifting assembly is used for driving the sliding mounting plate to automatically lift so as to maintain the digital display screen. By arranging the lifting assembly and the limiting assembly, when the digital display screen needs to be maintained, a driving motor can be started through a control switch in a control cabinet, a sliding mounting plate is driven to move downwards, and the downward movement of the sliding mounting plate drives the digital display screen to automatically move downwards to the bottom of a hollow mounting rod; therefore, the personnel can conveniently and directly maintain the digital display screen on the ground, the situation that climbing equipment needs to be adopted for high-altitude operation is avoided, and the safety of the personnel during maintenance is improved.
