The invention provides an ultra-low-temperature-resistant polymer modified asphalt self-adhesive waterproof coiled material and a preparation method thereof.The ultra-low-temperature-resistant polymer modified asphalt self-adhesive waterproof coiled material comprises a surface covering layer, a polyester base layer and a bottom resin film which are sequentially stacked from top to bottom; the surface covering layer and the polyester base layer are bonded through asphalt mastic, and the polyester base layer and the bottom resin film are bonded through asphalt mastic. The asphalt mastic comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 45-60 parts of asphalt; 5-7 parts of aromatic hydrocarbon oil; 19-30 parts of synthetic rubber; 10 to 15 parts of a tackifier; and 5-15 parts of an inorganic filler. The waterproof coiled material has the characteristics of super low temperature resistance and good waterproofness, and is low in production cost.
