The negative carbon aggregate comprises a carbonized cementing material, an alkali-activated material and an auxiliary cementing material, the alkali-activated material accounts for 3%-7% of the mass of the carbonized cementing material, and the auxiliary cementing material accounts for 5%-15% of the mass of the carbonized cementing material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: fully stirring and mixing a carbonized cementing material, an alkali-activated material, an auxiliary cementing material and water to obtain mixed slurry, molding the mixed slurry, and carrying out natural curing and carbonization treatment to prepare the negative carbon aggregate. And the strength of the product is obviously improved by adjusting the ratio of the cementing material.
