The invention discloses an assembly type expansion pile and a pile forming method thereof, the assembly type expansion pile comprises a guide section expansion pile and extension section expansion piles, the extension section expansion piles are arranged at the top of the guide section expansion pile, the number of the extension section expansion piles is multiple, and the extension section expansion piles are spliced from one side to one side from top to bottom; expansion assemblies are arranged on the side faces of the guide section expansion pile and the extension section expansion pile and comprise upper expansion pieces and lower expansion pieces, the upper expansion pieces and the lower expansion pieces are connected in a hinged mode, adapters are arranged at the top ends of the upper expansion pieces and the bottom ends of the lower expansion pieces, adapter columns are arranged at the two ends of the adapters, and the adapter columns and the adapter columns are connected in a hinged mode. The adapters at the top end of the upper expansion piece and the bottom end of the lower expansion piece are rotationally connected with the side face of the guide section expansion pile or the extension section expansion pile. The expansion assembly can be driven by inner side components of the guide section expansion pile and the extension section expansion pile to be unfolded or folded, and the whole expansion pile can be stabilized at the piling position when the expansion assembly is unfolded.
