The intelligent flow dividing device comprises a collecting system, a liquid level flow dividing system, a water quality flow dividing system, a discharging system, a control system and an overhauling system, the collecting system comprises a well chamber and a pipeline, the liquid level flow dividing system comprises a float type gate and an opening and closing gate, and the water quality flow dividing system comprises a water quality detection gate. The discharge system comprises a weir gate, an overflow port, a stoplog gate and a concrete pedestal. The shunting method comprises two methods of intelligently shunting sewage under sunny working conditions and intelligently shunting rain-sewage mixed water under rainy working conditions. The drainage inspection well is suitable for drainage inspection well construction in a rainwater and sewage mixed flow area, sewage is prevented from flowing into a river channel through a rainwater system through rainwater and sewage diversion, and the river channel treatment effect is improved.
