The invention belongs to the technical field of production of building material products from industrial solid waste desulfurized gypsum, and particularly relates to a mineralizer for a high-strength water-resistant gypsum product and a preparation method and application thereof, and the mineralizer for the high-strength water-resistant gypsum product comprises the following raw materials: 50-70 parts of lime, 15-30 parts of silica fume and/or silica powder, 10-20 parts of high-alumina cement, 1-4 parts of mineral powder and 1-6 parts of an auxiliary agent. The mineralizing agent is prepared from the lime, the silica fume and/or the silica powder, the high-alumina cement, the mineral powder and the auxiliaries as raw materials and is used for improving the water resistance and the strength of a gypsum product, and the initial setting time and the final setting time are relatively prolonged by doping the mineralizing agent; after the mineralizer is doped into the desulfurized gypsum, the formation of high-strength minerals and water-resistant minerals can be promoted, and the desulfurized gypsum can be better fused with trace elements of the mineralizer, so that the gypsum generates hydraulicity mutation, the strength and the water resistance of a gypsum product are remarkably improved, and meanwhile, the alkali and frost return phenomenon of the desulfurized gypsum product is also improved and eliminated.
