The invention relates to a roadbed compaction quality detection device and a detection method thereof. The roadbed compaction quality detection device comprises a fixed plate, moving wheel sets are oppositely arranged on the front side and the rear side of the fixing plate. A pushing and cleaning mechanism is arranged, a shifting rod is shifted to the right end, the shifting rod drives a movable block to eccentrically move around a movable rod, a cleaning head is embedded into blades on an auger, and a first cleaning wheel and a second cleaning wheel make contact with the surfaces of the blades correspondingly; then a second servo motor drives an auger to conduct transmission, blades are in contact friction with a first cleaning wheel and a second cleaning wheel, and therefore silt on the blades is removed, and during transmission of the auger, due to the fact that the auger is in a spiral shape, a cleaning head can be driven to reciprocate up and down, and at the moment, the cleaning head can move on a sliding rod through a moving block; and a pressure spring I and a pressure spring II are pressed respectively to generate deformation, so that the transmission state of the auger is handled, the auger is thoroughly cleaned, the operation is convenient and rapid, and the safety is high.
